Betty Lou was born and raised and lived her entire life in West Michigan. Born in 1930 in Grand Rapids, she was raised on a dairy farm near Cannonsburg MI. After graduating Valedictorian of St. Patrick's School in Parnell, she sang and danced on the Lowell Show Boat. She then went on to caringly work for years as an EKG technician at St Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids. Retiring later as District Manager of Rockford for The Grand Rapids Press.

Getting married and raising her 6 children in Rockford became her proudest and greatest accomplishment. She loved every one of her children so very much, and all but one have remained in West Michigan. Through the years, she became a grandmother to 15 grandchildren and beamed with love for each --one with special needs was especially dear to her. Betty was also very proud to have loved on two beautiful great granddaughters.

Betty was a beautiful woman with strength, courage, independence, and an amazing gift of unconditional love. Truly a selfless lady, Betty passed away unexpectedly on October 16, 2013, but left a legacy of love to carry on forever.

I am so grateful to be able to call this AMAZING woman my mom. Her strength, guidance, independence and never ending love have inspired me to offer and develop our all natural Betty Lou's products!

We at Betty Lou's thank you so much for visiting us.

Love, Janet
